¡Hola! Are you having a headache after your first Spanish class? I hope not... ¡Español es fácil 

¡Me duele la cabeza!
¡Tengo dolor de cabeza!

Let's review everything you learned on Day 1:

• Alphabet - el alfabeto
• Vowels - las vocales
• Linking - unir las palabras
• Greetings - los saludos 
• Personal Pronouns - los pronombres personales 
• Verbo ser 
• Colors - los colores  
• Numbers - los números 

And add the following:

1. la familia - family
2. el verbo tener - to have
3. los adjetivos 
4. singular y plural
5. question words : ¿cómo? ¿cuánto? - How? How much?
6. Cognates

• Practice terms about La familia on this site
• I recommend you watch this movie (2+ hrs) titled My Family. It is an American movie where English and Spanish is spoken. Culturally very eye-opening. 

2. El verbo tener (to have)

• Watch this video to learn how to use tener 

3. Los adjetivos 

• Click here for a list of adjectives. They are in alphabetical order and in their masculine/feminine and singular/plural forms.

4. Singular y plural.

• This site will help you remember the explanations I will give you in class. No need to panic because of too much grammar

5. ¿Cómo? - ¿Cuánto? 

• Here are some examples (ejemplos):
• ¿Cómo se llama Ud.? ¿Cómo te llamas tú?
• ¿Cómo se dice...?
• ¿Cómo es...?
• ¿Cuántos años tiene? ¿Cuántos años tienes?
• ¿Cuánto cuesta? 

6. Cognates. 

• A cognate is a word that is written the same way and also means (most of the time) the same in both, Spanish and English. 
• Watch here and learn more about cognates. 
• Watch this short video and you will realize you understand what the man is saying.
